This weekend was extremely jam-packed...but so much fun! Cuz Erin and her boyfriend, Stu, were in town for a wedding and Shaun & I were lucky enough to get to have them stay with us Thursday & Friday night! We took in a Mariner's game against my old Padres with the entire wedding clan on Friday night and met a lot of great people. Saturday, Shaun spent the morning at the Sounders game while Erin, Stu and I took Lanie on her very first leash walk to a neighborhood coffee shop (Cloud City Coffee) that I will now be frequenting quite often. Delish! Lanie wasn't so sure about the walk at first but was loving it by the end. The word 'walk' would always send Harvey into an excited tailspin...and I think it will be one of Lanie's favorite words soon enough as well!
Once Shaun was home from the game to take over 'puppy duty', I was off to little Ivan Leander's 21 run in Fremont. I first met Ivan when he was a tiny twelve year old, so needless to say this event made me feel VERY old. After Fremont, I picked up Shaun and we were headed to Ballard for Mr. Eric Blatt's big 3-0! We finished off the weekend with a Sunday in Gig Harbor so Lanie could meet the Kehrberg family, followed by kickball playoffs where team Fiesta lost 10-9. Wah wah wah. Next up for Team Fiesta...Red Rubber Showdown!
